CHICAGO HOPE

MISSION: To glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in the communities of Chicago through the meeting of physical and spiritual needs in order to bring people from their point of felt need into a personal relationship with our Lord and His Church. Chicago Hope, Inc. is the mercy ministry arm of Armitage Church.

Serving as the mercy ministry of Armitage Church, this ministry targets the needs of the poor in the community with ministries that share the gospel while meeting felt needs. These ministries include a Food Pantry, After School Tutoring, Job Placement, Nursing Home Ministry, Basketball League, English as a Second Language, Ex-Offender Resource Network, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Men's Bible Study, an Eye Clinic and Medical Referrals. Chicago Hope also hosts on-site mission teams throughout the year for churches and groups who want to experience ministry to the poor in an urban environment.

Most of our ministries function out of our facility next to the church at 2505 N. Kedzie Boulevard.

Details about a certain ministry may change during the year. For updated information on any of the ministries, please call 773-395-4700.

"For You have been a defense for the helpless,a defense for the needy in his distress,a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless is like a rain storm against a wall." (Isaiah 25:4) (NASB)

"...to be a church of such size and strength to impact Chicago and the cities of the world."
