Easter is among the most significant events in history. Jesus overcame the power of death and inaugurated the New Creation. But we all know that life can get in the way of intimacy with this great Creator and real devotion to his cause. As a church, let us prepare our hearts to encounter the risen Lord! Let us create the space to be met by God. Corporately, let us take these 40 days to fast, read Scripture and a classic devotional book, come together for a prayer vigil, and celebrate the risen Lord during special services.
